England
These are pictures from our trip to Europe! We had a wonderful time pretending to be English Guards protecting the Queen. Remember Guards never, ever smile! We also got to be crowned Queens and Kings. Watch out...we are royalty now :)
Halloween adventures!
We have little vampires running around Rose Lane! We also have first graders estimating and counting pumpkin seeds, making art work, and participating in a wild rumpus! What an exciting holiday!

Math Time!
This is us working on combinations of ten. Some of us are playing towers of ten, others are playing in and out or even on and off. We always say together that all mathematicians need to know combinations of ten so it is important to practice at home and at school!!
Washington D.C. Plane Trip
Well we packed our bags and headed for our Nation's capitol! We met the President, toured the white house, visited the U.S. mint, and reviewed our countries symbols. Here are pictures of us on the plane and learning all about Washington D.C.!

Voting!
Voting!
We did a social studies lesson on the importance of voting! We watched the candidates give their campaign speeches, we researched each candidate, we created political advertisements and then we voted!
Akyssa decided to vote for Ms Molly! |
At first Jerron wanted Ms. Molly but later he changed his mind! |
